There are approximately 1,300 children and youth in need of a family to care about them and to love them in Santa Clara County. The Department of Family and Children’s Services is seeking motivated Resource Families to care for children in foster care. Open your heart and home to help a child, a group of siblings or parent a teen. Through this meeting you will learn the basic information regarding the Child Welfare System, the types of families needed, and the general requirements to become a Resource Family.
