ReclaimtheRecords.org is a non-profit group of genealogists, historians and researchers who file Freedom of Information requests to get public records online for free for everyone. Their target is archivally important data that are not available online or on microfilm. They have already had success in New York, New Jersey and Missouri. This is the Santa Clara County Historical and Genealogical Society monthly general meeting. All are welcome.
