Do you have what it takes to be the next President of the United States? Civic Leadership is a crucial skill that is needed for all of these professions. It sparks individual initative with the potential to influence others for the good of the community at large.

Learn from our special guest, Santa Clara Vice Mayor Kathy Watanabe,  as she shares how to become a great civic leader. She will give a day-in-the-life of a vice mayor and council member, talk about the ins-and-outs of local government, and the special people she works with on a day-to-day basis.
Then afterwards, we will test your American civics knowledge as we play "American-athalon," a version of our very popular, Mental-athalon game.

Attendees at this program will learn civic engagement, social entrepreneurship, community building, and development.
