Three beautiful portraits of members of the Bellomy family will be unveiled at a reception in the Heritage Pavilion. Find out more about the portrait subjects: Rosa Fermina “America” Bellomy Hoffman, wife of Charles Hoffman, Superintendent of the Almaden Quicksilver Mine, her mother, Maria de Jesus Bernal Bellomy and Rebecca Bellomy, her niece. The portraits were painted in the 1880s by Ernest Narjot, an accomplished French painter who came to California in the Gold Rush. Please join us for more information about the women and the artist.
