Mary Boyle, Santa Clara City Library's Local History/Genealogy Librarian, has been researching her family since 1981. So far she has traced her ancestors from Wisconsin back to Vermont, Maryland, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Ireland, and England, but she still hasn’t found the Germans in Europe. She is currently in her dream job as a Local History/Genealogy Librarian. Earlier in her career she taught in library school programs and worked in academic libraries before her work in public libraries.
