Join us for a night of music featuring an interactive drumming experience along with a story with audience participation in dance song and drum. Akoma Arts is a multi-ethnic group of musicians, singers, dancers and visual artists whose mission is to help bring together the various South Bay communities through performance. We take our audiences through several stages of the African and African American experience by utilizing African American and Praise songs and African American Folk Songs and Spirituals. This event takes place in the Parkside entrance of the Library.
