The Immigrant Experience: A Personal Story with Francisco Jimenez

Santa Clara City Library presents an evening with Mexican-American author and educator Dr. Francisco Jimenez, author of The Circuit, Breaking Through, Reaching Out and Taking Hold. Dr. Jimenez will share his personal experiences growing up in a family of immigrant migrant farm workers and will explain how these experiences have shaped his writing.

Given the universality of the immigrant experience, in both present and past, we strongly encourage families of all backgrounds to attend the program and share their own experiences as immigrants or positive experiences they have had with immigrants. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet and hear a local author speak, and it is an event that you certainly do not want to miss!

We strongly encourage registering via Eventbrite so you will receive an email reminder. Seating on the evening of the event will be first-come, first-served.

This event is after-hours. The Library closes at 6 p.m.; if you arrive after 6 p.m., please use the side doors closest to the community rooms for entry to this program.
