The Financial Planners Association of Silicon Valley will teach you how to save up money for college. While geared towards parents, this is also an opportunity for teens in grades 9-12 to learn about finance. In this session, you will learn:

When is the right time to start a college savings plan for my child?

What types of college saving funds are out there?

What is covered under college savings plans and out-of-pocket expenses that are not covered.

Tax implications for a college savings plan.
