Santa Clara Public Library

The Geogra-BEE will test your knowledge on how to S-P-E-L-L cities, countries, and counties from around the world! 

Registration is required:
1:30-3 pm - For Grades 2-3 ONLY
4-5:30 pm - For Grades 4-5 ONLY
Registration opens 30 days prior to the program date.

*For equability purposes, proof of grade level must be brought to the Geogra-BEE to make sure that everyone is fairly assessed:

• Current/last report card with the child’s name and year.

• Current school ID with a picture of the child with grade.

If you cannot provide one piece of information on the date of the competition or do not arrive on-time for check-in between 1:30-1:45 and 4-4:15 pm, then your spot will be forfeited. 

For grades 2-3 & 4-5 and their parent(s)*** For concentration purposes, we ask that no younger siblings (babies, toddlers, preschoolers) be allowed in the program. Only the participant and their parent(s) may attend. You must register under the student's name only. Any duplicate registrations will be deleted.

*** A ticket does not guarantee entry to the program if you do not arrive on time. Any leftover seats will be given away to the waitlist after the doors open. Doors will close immediately after the event begins or after the event reaches capacity.

*** Your attendance to this program grants permission to the City of Santa Clara to take your photograph and/or your child's photograph for marketing purposes.
