Hop on down to the Central Park Library for a bunny-themed storytime! In partnership with the South Bay Rabbit Recue, we have put together a very special storytime to celebrate our furry friends. Kids and adults will read, sing, dance, and learn about bunnies, and then have an opportunity to meet a new purr-fect companion outside.
10:30 am- 11:00 am- Bunny-themed storytime in the Redwood Room.
11:00 am- 12:00 pm- Attendees can walk outside to visit the South Bay Rabbit Rescue and the baby bunnies near the library entrance (you read that right, BABY bunnies).
This program is a part of the Fur-ever Friends storytime series, in which the Central Park Library partners with several local shelters to encourage animal adoption. These special storytimes will teach your child responsibility through owning a pet and will encourage empathy towards animals.
All ages welcome! No registration required.
Special thanks to the Santa Clara City Library Foundation and Friends and the South Bay Rabbit Rescue for making this event possible.
