Astrophysics: The Violent Universe

With our eyes, in the visual band, the Universe appears to be very quiet and static. However, this does not happen when we look at the Universe in the gamma-ray band, a very energetic light. This talk offers a look into our violent Universe in gamma rays.

Speaker: Dr. Elena Orlando, Senior Research Scientist in Astrophysics - Stanford Hansen Experimental Physics Laboratory
