Join us at the Mission Branch Library for a class on creating comic art with comic artist Gaz Gretsky.
We will break down techniques for clear storytelling for the visual medium. Panel flow, lettering, and leading the eye on the page will all be discussed. Additionally we will go over the basics of inking both digital and traditional and how that can relate to storytelling as well.
If you have your own art supplies you are partial to, please bring unlined paper, pencil, eraser, pen for inking thin and thick lines (like a Japanese brush pen ), or 2 pens 1 thick one thin, and a ruler or other strait edge for drawing panel lines.We will have limited supplies available for those without.
This class is for teens and adults only (ages 14+).
