Victoria Kinnear,Genealogist, will present this program.
Writing our ancestors’ stories is significant, enriching and a critical component of family history. Many ancestors don’t leave a wide trail of commonly researched records. A little digging can uncover important and possibly surprising details of their lives and deaths. With the help of a mental shovel, a magnifying glass, and a timeline of their lives, details of their stories can be found and most importantly, shared.
Victoria Kinnear is a professional genealogist and columnist (Gettysburg Times) who has worked for Genealogy Roadshow, Finding Your Roots, and Who Do You Think You Are. She has also been a Genealogist for Ancestry and researched for various projects including the Georgetown College sale of 272 slaves in 1838, and multiple forensic genealogy heir research projects
