Critical Skills for Managing Stress

Stressful, unwanted situations are an inevitable part of life. The key to a good life is not in avoiding life's stressors, but rather about courageously and skillfully navigating through them. Join us in the one hour workshop, facilitated by Mia Primeau, MA, Wellness Advisor with Stanford Health Improvement Program, to develop skills for navigating your way to success, despite whatever comes your way.

Mia Primeau holds a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island and an MA in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. She started her career as a grief counselor at Hospice, going on to teach wellness and life skills at a public middle school. She has been working at Stanford since 2016 as a Wellness Advisor as Marketing Specialist for the Health Improvement Program. In her spare time, Mia enjoys spending time with friends, taking walks, and exploring the arts.
