The American healthcare system is complex and expensive. In this seminar, we’ll explore how to maneuver in this system and save money in the process. This talk will cover some of the basics such as how the US healthcare system works and how to select a health plan. It will also cover more complex topics such as price comparing, disputing incorrect health bills and managing the transition to Medicare.
Speaker: Joanne Rodrigues a healthcare data scientist with masters degrees in Mathematics and Demography from the London School of Economics and University of California Berkeley. Her industry experience is building health technology products for employer groups, both to lower costs and improve population health.
