All CITY OF SANTA CLARA LIBRARIES ARE CLOSED

  • Date: 03/24/2020

We would like to inform you that based on the recommendations issued by the Department of Public Health related to the coronavirus (COVID-19), we have made the decision to close the City of Santa Clara Libraries. This will be in effect from Friday, March 13th at 6 pm until at least April 6th. As this situation continues to develop, we will reassess the length of this closure.

We are deeply saddened that we will have to close our doors to our community and we will be working on inventive and creative ways to continue to serve our population as this closure continues.

We will be continuing to provide services to our community through phone communication and with our online services. Our general reference line allows our community to have their questions answered about library services, online materials or to receive general information.  If you have a question to ask, please call us at (408) 615-2900

In addition, our library offers our community the ability to contact our librarians through email for their information or research needs. Please reach out ot us at Librarians@santaclaraca.gov

If you wish to renew your library materials, have questions about your library account or are having issues with your library account, please call our customer service line to resolve these issues at (408) 615-2970

Library resources are available 24/7 using our website. You can access eBooks, eAudiobooks, magazines and newspapers like the New York Times and San Jose Mercury News remotely from your home with your Santa Clara City library card. Our website can be located at sclibrary.org
