Lila Hung is a tenured Recruitment/Talent Acquisition (TA) professional with over 20 years of experience building start-ups and scaling top companies in Silicon Valley. She is currently a Senior TA Partner at Juniper Networks here in Sunnyvale, leading recruitment for Juniper Engineering. Prior to Juniper, Lila was a Recruiting Manager at CipherCloud, a cloud security start-up. She also has an extensive consulting background, for companies such as Varian Medical Systems, Seagate, NetApp, Brocade, and Google, hiring for Sales, Engineering, Legal, Research, and Finance. Lila holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Davis.
Irene Nexica pivoted into recruiting after stints as a university professor and nonprofit fundraiser, and loves being able to match up great work with great people and offering tools and coaching for transformation. Employment is one way that people can transform their lives, and her passion is advocating for nontraditional candidates on an individual basis and for changes in the ways hiring is done so that workplaces get closer to equitable opportunity for all. Bridging social research and lived experience, she wants to include voices and experiences that may not yet have critical mass in certain sectors.
Pramod Shintri is a seasoned Talent Business Partner for Juniper Networks leading the recruitment efforts for Juniper’s Chief Product Officer’s organization, along with Corporate Development & Strategy. Prior to joining Juniper Networks, Pramod has worked for a mixed bag of large and small companies, ranging from Google and Splunk to Phantom and HortonWorks who are in variety of domains. Pramod’s staffing expertise is cross-functional ranging from Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and CorpDev/Strategy. He completed his Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Houston and is passionate about helping professionals achieve their aspirations, along with providing guidance for those who are transitioning into a new career.
René Shimada Siegel is CEO of Connext. For two decades, René has made life easier for hundreds of technology clients with specialized contractors ranging from recent grads to senior strategists. Current clients include Adobe, Google, LinkedIn, Salesforce, and Workday. René is a member of the Forbes Communications Council and currently serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Lucas College of Business at San Jose State University.
Thor Swenson is Partner and Managing Director of Lagom, an international consultancy focusing on Human Capital, Change Management, and Organizational Design. He has a degree in sociology from Louisiana State University and has led talent acquisition, training, leadership development, and change management within multi-million dollar organizations. Thor is a strong proponent of aligning performance for success through effective human capital management in any organization he works with.
Yash Voltaire is a consultant focused on the Human Capital side of Mergers, Acquisitions, and Integrations. He has a degree in industrial-organizational psychology and prior experience within the Big 4. He has driven organization transformations and developed operating models for major oil and gas organizations. His focus is developing scalable and sustainable organizational designs and talent strategies that set organizations up for multiple years of success.
