Join us for a book club discussion about the book How to be an Anti-Racist by Ibram X. Kendi.
Over the past few weeks, you may have heard the term "anti-racist" being used. But what does that mean? It's more than just not being racist. It is a perspective that can help us examine how racism is woven through society in ways that are both obvious and insidious.
"How to be an Anti-Racist" is a personal narrative of author Ibram X. Kendi coming to recognize how racism affected his own life and thinking and the changes he made to break those patterns. Through this examination, we too are given a chance to look at ourselves and our communities and find ways to create an equitable and just society that values everyone.
