ONLINE: STEAM Lab: Summer Slimes

steam lab summer slimeSoak up the sun and play outside with new slime! We will be learning how to make, not one, not two, but THREE different summer themed slimes!

The list of supplies is down below. Making these slimes requires parental supervision at all times and are not recommended for children under the age of 7.

 

 

 

FOR ALL THREE SLIMES:
Three clean containers to mix your slime (one per slime). Make sure you do NOT store food or eat from these containers after using them for slime (Disposable clear cups or bowls will work)
One bottle of saline solution, one box of baking soda AND one bottle of Elmer's Magical Liquid
At least 3 popsicle sticks to mix your slime

BEACH SAND SLIME:
White Elmer's Glue
Elmer's Magical Liquid (Slime Activator) *one bottle is enough for all three slimes*
Yellow and Brown Acrylic Paint
Instant Snow Powder
OPTIONAL:
Mini Paper Umbrellas
Miniature Plastic Buckets (sold at Michaels)
Mini Seashells (sold on Amazon)

OCEAN BLUE SLIME:
Clear Elmer's Glue
Elmer's Magical Liquid (Slime Activator) *one bottle is enough for all three slimes*
Blue Food Coloring
OPTIONAL:
Mini Ocean Animal Figurines (sold on Amazon)

MERMAID SLIME:

Clear Elmer's Glue
Elmer's Magical Liquid (Slime Activator) *one bottle is enough for all three slimes*
Food Coloring (any color, we will be using red)
OPTIONAL:
Metallic Pigment Powder (any color, we will be using blue)
OR Glitter (any color)
