Join Santa Clara County Historical and Genealogical Society genealogy consultants for a Genealogy Basics Special Interest Group (SIG). If you are new to genealogy, returning to genealogy or simply want to review the basics, this group is for you. The group will meet monthly and will start with a short presentation or demonstration on a topic of importance to beginner genealogists. Following that, the facilitator will open the session for questions, comments and discussion.
Meetings will occur on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, beginning July 8, 2020 at 10:00 am PST. To sign up for the SIG meeting if you haven’t attended a previous session, send an email to LibraryGenealogyConsultant@scchgs.org to obtain the meeting link.
To participate in a Zoom meeting, you need a device with a microphone. A desktop computer, laptop or tablet work best. A smart phone can suffice although it may be hard to see the slides on the screen.
