Join us for an interactive book club online featuring basic literacy components for very young readers. Led by a literacy specialist, this activity will help children boost phonics and vocabulary skills in a fresh and fun way. Then, learn how to make a fun craft with supplies from around the house! The book will be presented online during the event.

This month, we will be reading "The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything" by Linda Williams. Children will read the book together virtually during the event, so a physical copy of the book is not necessary. For the craft after the book, please have the following supplies ready:

Scarecrow Craft

● Coffee filter or cupcake liners

● Construction paper or white printer paper

● Markers or crayons

● Scissors

● Glue or tape
