Let's "pull back the curtain" and find out how college applications are evaluated! This webinar is aimed at parents of high schoolers (and middle schoolers who want to get ahead) and addresses questions that parents often have about the college admissions process. We will discuss the following questions / topics:
· How do you know what schools you’ll get into based on your GPA, extracurriculars, SAT/ACT scores, and college essay(s)?
· Who should you ask for your letter of recommendation?
· What if your GPA is low? Are there alternative options to help balance this?
· What does a typical course load look like for a high-performing student?
· What should you do when you are a freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior?
· Case studies of admitted students
For Grades 6-12 + Parent(s).
Eventbrite registration is required. Registration ends on November 16 at 12 pm. Participants who have registered will be given access credentials on November 16 by 3 pm.
