LOBBY PICK UP BEGINS NOV. 4

Picking up holds is made easier with our new Lobby Pick Up Service.

Stay safe and get your Library materials by following the instructions below!

Lobby Pick Up Hours:

Monday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. 
Tuesday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. 
Wednesday: 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. 
Thursday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. 
Friday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. 
Saturday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. 

If you are having issues with placing a hold in our library catalog, please visit our Classic Catalog or click into the item record to complete the hold. 

A tutorial is available on the Library's YouTube channel for placing a hold using our catalog. You can also call in during our lobby pick up hours for assistance with placing holds at 408-615-2900.

Please note that our library has a 10 item hold limit.

Lobby Pick Up Process:

  1. Place a hold (max 10 items per card) through the Library Catalog.
  2. You will receive an email notification when your item is Ready for Pickup
  3. When you arrive at the library, park your vehicle and walk up to the library's main entrance
  4. Library staff will be outside to greet and assist you. 
  5. For your safety, a limited number of patrons will be allowed in our lobby. All patrons must wear face coverings and must adhere to social distancing guidelines.
  6. A staff member will grab your holds and check them out to you.
  7. Happy reading!

Returns:

Returns are being accepted at the Central Park Library’s Bookdrop 24 hours a day. Late fees are not being charged during this time. Return materials when you can. Check your account to renew items or give us a call at 408-615-2970 Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

*All Library returns will be quarantined for at least 96 hours. Your items will not be checked in right away. Please wait at least 96 hours to verify that your items have been removed from your account. This may delay hold requests to ensure items are safe for check out.
