Project Sentinel is a non-profit organization and provides counseling, conciliation, investigation, and when necessary, legal referrals to persons alleging housing discrimination.
How Does It Work?
- Make an appointment online
- The Project Sentinel staff member gives you a call sometime between 1 pm to 3 pm on the appointment date
- Phone meetings, between the participants and Project Sentinel member are free and limited to 15 minutes per session.
- This program is held every second and fourth Tuesday of the month between 1 pm to 3 pm

A short waiting list will be maintained in each session after available sessions have been booked. Clients on the waiting list may not receive a phone call during the two-hour session.
Few important things to remember:
- These consultation sessions are only for Santa Clara County residents (except San Jose tenants. San Jose tenants can get help from Bay Area Legal Aid)
- You will be receiving a call from a blocked number any time between the session hours on the appointment day.
- Please provide a safe number where the consultants can leave a message if they cannot reach you, if you are not able to leave a safe number, please specify that no message should be left.
