Our Car Pick Up is now being offered at the Central Park Library in addition to Lobby Pick Up!
Book an appointment when pick up works for you and receive your library items safely.
Car Pick Up Hours:
Monday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Tuesday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Thursday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Car Pick Up Process:
- Place a hold (max 10 items per card) through the Library Catalog.
- You will receive an email notification when your item is Ready for Pickup.
- Book an Appointment for Car Pick Up
- When you arrive at the library, park your vehicle in the designated spots on the East side of the library. Please refer to this map if you are having issues locating the spot.
- Please call the number available on the sign and tell them your name and library card number
- A staff member will grab your holds and check them out to you. Please open your trunk and wait for the staff member to safely place them into your car.

Returns:
Returns will not be accepted by staff members during Car Pick Up.
Returns are being accepted at the Central Park Library’s Bookdrop 24 hours a day.
*All Library returns will be quarantined for at least 96 hours. Your items will not be checked in right away. Please wait at least 96 hours to verify that your items have been removed from your account. This may delay hold requests to ensure items are safe for check out.
