I’m an outspoken automotive educator and body shop estimator making my mark in a field of older men and sometimes skeptical customers. I have proven through my experience and knowledge that I have earned my place and respect.
I use my automotive knowledge to empower women and queer folks through online classes and consultations. My career started in Sears Auto Center and headed to major automotive repair chains, dealerships and a independently owned franchise repair shop. Now working in the collision industry allows me to have a well rounded understanding of cars inside and out.
My work falls under the umbrella of empowerment. Be exactly who you are while educating yourself on things that will empower you. I blog about radical body acceptance, automotive fundamentals and queer life and love.
I believe that being an educated consumer is the key to not being ripped off and that you don’t need to be mechanically savvy to understand car basics.
I’m not a mechanic, I’m an automotive writer, educator and person who’s held the customer facing job with joy. Empowering others with the knowledge I have keep my blood flowing.
