Updates to Santa Clara City Library Programs & Services due to Regional Stay-at-Home Order

Due to the Stay-at-Home Order issued by the County of Santa Clara Public Health Department, Santa Clara City Library programs and services have been updated to the following:

ALL SANTA CLARA CITY LIBRARIES WILL BE CLOSED through January 4,2020 pending further County or State Stay-at-Home Orders

During the closure, no other library services, except phone, online and digital, will be available.

  • Online & Digital Resources 24/7: Your favorite online and digital resources are always available. Visit https://www.sclibrary.org/books-more/digital-library/ebooks to view what is available. 
  • Library Books: Enjoy your library materials longer! We apologize for the inconvenience, book drops will be closed during this time and nothing will be due until the Library reopens. No overdue fees will be charged during the closure.
  • Library Bookmobile: The Library bookmobile will temporarily suspend services.
  • Comic Con: Attend the 5th Annual Comic Con online on December 12! Join virtually and geek out with us! More details at SCLibrary.org/Comic-Con.
  • Programs: There’s always a wide variety of virtual library programs to enjoy from home. Visit https://www.sclibrary.org/calendar/events/ to find out what’s happening.
  • Phone Service: You will be able to reach the library by phone Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. For account questions, call 1-408-615-2970. For reference questions, please call 1-408-615-2900.
