Join us for an interactive book club online featuring basic literacy components for very young readers. Led by a literacy specialist, this activity will help children boost phonics and vocabulary skills in a fresh and fun way. Then, learn how to make a fun craft with supplies from around the house! The book will be presented online during the event.

During the event, we will be reading the book "Blackout" by John Rocco. The book will be provided virtually during the event, so there is no need to get a physical copy. After the book, the children will be able to participate in a craft. If you would like to join the craft, please ensure you have the following supplies:

Star Card Craft

● Black construction paper
● White paper
● Yellow and/or white crayons
● Pencil
● Scissors
● Glue or tape
