Tom Calarco will discuss his research of local history that led him to become a nationally-recognized expert on the Underground Railroad. He will show why you should never give up searching for information because the next library, or archive, or document you view may lead you to what you are seeking. Sometimes it happens just by accident, but those serendipitous occurrences only happen if you are persistent.
Tom is the author/editor of eight books and numerous articles on the Underground Railroad. He is a member of the North Country Underground Railroad Historical Association.
Our monthly meetings are free and open to the public. To attend, you must register in advance at https://tinyurl.com/y3b8yyh7
