TinyHacks is a student-run initiative that fosters design thinking mindsets and problem-solving skills in youth through hackathons and workshops. Our theme focuses on global issues, so teams are encouraged to create ideas that tackle real-world problems, from global warming to COVID-19.
Over the two-day makeathon, students will have access to team mentors during the design process. On the first day (Saturday 27th from 1 to 5pm), students will begin brainstorming ideas and choose between workshops about prototyping in TinkerCad or Figma.
On the second day (Sunday 28th from 1 to 5pm), teams will attend a workshop about how to pitch ideas, listen to a guest speaker, and pitch their ideas to judges at the end of the makeathon. Teams can win prizes (based on ideation, pitch, and design), which will be announced closer to the makeathon date!
Eventbrite Registration required!
