On July 8th, 2021 The Santa Clara City Library is proud to present this virtual talk with State Park Interpreter, Jeremy Lin!
We will talk with Jeremy about his work and research in regard to society’s relationship to parks and public spaces, and the impact volunteers have on conservation efforts in our natural environments.

Bio: Jeremy has over twelve years of experience working in the fields of interpretation, outdoor education, and conservation. Prior to working as an interpreter and volunteer coordinator for Sierra and Santa Cruz Districts, Jeremy led backcountry trail crews in Alaska and Maine with the National Park Service and taught field biology in the coast redwood region. He graduated with his B.A. Environmental Studies degree from University of California, Santa Cruz and M.A. Environmental Studies degree from Prescott College, Arizona.
Jeremy enjoys learning about wilderness medicine and plays guitar and bass. Jeremy and his wife Jasmine live in Truckee, California and enjoy snowboarding in the winter and backpacking in the summer.
