The PSAT is the Preliminary SAT. The PSAT is a great primer for the SAT or ACT (if you are planning on going to a private or ivy league college), but it’s more than just a trial run. PSAT scores are used to identify National Merit Scholars and award merit scholarships.* Students will be given an option on which exam they'd like to take. You must logged by 8:45 am and video must be turned on. This is to simulate what it is like to take the actual test.
Please have with you when you log in:
- 3 x #2 Pencils
- A calculator (standard or graphing calculator is ok)
For Grades 8-11 ONLY.
Eventbrite registration is required. Registration needs to be under your student's name so they can score the exam. ***
This program is sponsored by Zenith Tutoring.
How it will work:
- Registration will end on September 16 at 8 am (unless all spots are taken and it might end earlier).
- Participants who have registered will be given Zoom access credentials on September 17 by 10 pm.
- Participants will be emailed the PSAT exam by September 17 by 12 midnight and must be able to print out the entire test which is around 50-60 pages (no exceptions allowed).
Participants must be logged in by 8:45 am and instructions will be begin promptly at 9 am. Any individual who is not logged in by 8:45 am will not be able to take the exam.
*GPA, extracurricular activities, essay, and college applications also play factors on whether you get into the award or into the college(s) of your choice.
