The Santa Clara City Library is proud to present this online interview with award-winning essayist, poet, and playwright José Vadi, promoting his new book INTER STATE, “A debut collection of poetic, linked essays investigating the past and present state of California, its conflicting histories and their impact on a writer’s family and life.”
We will speak to Vadi about his book, the inspiration to create such vivid and heartbreaking snapshots of Californian life, the importance of poetry and storytelling… and so much more!
