Calling all 2nd and 3rd grade readers!! Join us for a fun discussion, crafts, and games related to some awesome books!
For November, will discuss and make a craft related to Magic Tree House: Thanksgiving on Thursday by Mary Pope Osborne. Please check out a print, digital, or audio copy for your child to read or for you to read together before our next meeting. Children do not have to read the book to attend, but it will make the Book Club more meaningful to them if they have the opportunity to read the book first.
Craft kits will be ready for you to pick-up from the Central Park Library Youth Services Desk from Nov. 1-18. Please be sure to pick-up a craft kit for your 2nd or 3rd grader only after registering for the event. We will not have extra kits for students that are not registered.
Our book club will be held via Zoom for the time being until we are able to host in-person events. We will be allowing participants to use their cameras and microphones for this event, because what is a book club if we can’t see and talk to each other about our books? For this reason, we are requiring registration and limiting the number of participants. Please only register students in 2nd or 3rd grades for this event. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
