Join us for this Zoom session and bring a poem to read! Whether it is your own, or a poem/poet that you have enjoyed, all adults 17+ are welcome to come share in words, energy, and community!
Poetry is a powerful literary medium that helps to express ideas, emotions, and creative style in our human experience. Whether these poems are long epic tales, or short haikus, the subtly and character of poetry can be felt and heard through the reader, in the quiet silence of their solitude, or in a crowded room at an open mic.
This is your opportunity to share with the Santa Clara City Library community poetry that inspires you, moves you, and excites you! All adults are welcome to share - even if this might be your first time on the (virtual) microphone, or if you are a veteran of the stage, this safe space is for you!
Space is limited, so if you plan on reading for the event email the organizing librarian, Danny Le to reserve your spot on the lineup! Email: dle1@santaclaraca.gov
