On October 27, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. on Zoom we will be talking with teacher, author, and kulintang musician Conrad J. Benedicto! We will discuss his new fantasy novel, Musalaya’s Gift and the inspiration and history that was collected and imbedded into the book. Combining a rich collage of Filipinx folklore and narrative directions not often found in the genre, Musalaya’s Gift is a welcomed addition to the mythological canon of stories that speaks to readers who embrace a familiarity to the characters, locations, and issues present in its pages.
