The California State Library is pleased to partner with the National Park Service for the first presentation in a series of webinars. Join Ranger Danny Ortiz for a virtual presentation on the Tule Lake Relocation Center, one of ten camps established by the War Relocation Authority during World War Two. This camp was then transformed into a segregation center to house people of Japanese ancestry who did not answer "Yes-Yes" to the so-called "loyalty questionnaire." Ranger Ortiz will use historical photographs and more to guide you through this dark chapter of American history.
Online Zoom Virtual Event: Thursday, July 11, 2024 (12 - 1 p.m.)
