NorthStar Digital Literacy Assessment The NorthStar Digital Literacy Assessment, offered through Santa Clara City Library, helps adults demonstrate that they have the basic computer literacy skills needed in today’s workplace. The assessments include self-guided modules: Essential Computer Skills (Basic Computer Skills, Internet Basics, Using Email, Windows, Mac OS), Essential Software Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Using Technology in Daily Life (Social Media and Information Literacy.) Anyone can take the assessments for free on the website. To earn a certificate, the test must be proctored online by library staff. |
