The LGBTQ Youth Space

The LGBTQ Youth Space is a community drop-in center and mental health program for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and ally youth and young adults ages 13-25 who live in Santa Clara County.

Bill Wilson Center

The Drop-In Center is a safe place where young people and young parent families can begin to form bonds with caring adults and access essential resources for their overall well-being. The primary goal of the program is to get homeless youth into safe and permanent housing.

Billy DeFrank LGBTQ+ Community Center

The Billy DeFrank LGBTQ+ Community Center provides community, leadership, advocacy, services and support to the Silicon Valley’s LGBTQ People and their Allies. It strives to be the community's premier resource hub and a recognized leader in promoting health, strength, diversity and inclusiveness.

PFLAG San Jose

The San Jose/Peninsula chapter of PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered persons, their families and friends through: support, education, and advocacy. They provide opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.

TransFamilies

TransFamilies is a group of parents coming together to make the world a safer and happier place for gender diverse children. They are a parent-led peer support group with meetings in Silicon Valley and Santa Cruz County.

Gender Health Center

The Gender Health Center (GHC) is the first all ages clinic specialized in caring for transgender, gender-non-binary and gender expansive people in the South Bay by offering medical care, mental/emotional health care, social work support for practical needs, and opportunities for community connection.

LGBTQ Wellness

LGBTQ Wellness provides community outreach, mental health education and training, and engages in mental health advocacy and policy work to encourage the support and holistic wellness of the LGBTQ community.

County of Santa Clara Office of LGBTQ Affairs

The Office of LGBTQ Affairs provides leadership and support for the well-being and longevity of LGBTQ communities in Santa Clara County through coordinated, integrated approaches and by working to create a social climate with institutional backing that offers multiple pathways for LGBTQ individual and communities to thrive here and everywhere.

Silicon Valley Pride

Silicon Valley Pride is a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies. It is the largest Pride celebration of the South Bay and is a family friendly event.

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) young people under 25.

LGBT National Help Center

The LGBT National Help Center is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that operates three national hotlines for youth, adults, and seniors to provide vital peer-support, community connections and resource information to people with questions regarding sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays)

PFLAG is the first and largest organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people, their parents and families, and allies.

GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network)

GLSEN is a national network of educators, students, and local Chapters working to ensure that LGBTQ students are able to learn and grow in a school environment free from bullying and harassment.

SAGE (Services & Advocacy for LGBT Elders)

SAGE is the country’s largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of LGBT older people. Sage is a national organization that offers supportive services and consumer resources to LGBT older people and their caregivers.

Lambda Legal

Lambda Legal is the oldest and largest national legal organization whose mission is to achieve full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and everyone living with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work.

Transgender Law Center

Transgender Law Center (TLC) is the largest national trans-led organization advocating self-determination for all people. Grounded in legal expertise and committed to racial justice, TLC employs a variety of community-driven strategies to keep transgender and gender nonconforming people alive, thriving, and fighting for liberation.
